EU EXPERIENCE SUGGESTS EXPEDIENCY OF INTRODUCING CENTRALISED PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
Today public procurement in Ukraine is carried out on a decentralized basis mostly. This approach is believed to be inefficient, because it makes it impossible to fully benefit from economies of scale, is time consuming and also may contribute to corruption. While EU countries already benefit from establishment of centralised public procurement. The article (available in Ukrainin only) considers both, benefits and potential challenges for Ukraine when introducing Centralised Procurement system.
