EU Supports Competition Forum in Ukraine
On 17 – 18 March 2016, with the support of EU and the Project the 5th Competition Forum of Ukraine will be held at President Hotel in Kyiv.
The Forum will become a platform for dialogue and exchange of experience in the field of competition and for discussion of the ways to improve Ukrainian competition policy and legislation in the context of implementation of the provisions on competition of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
The Forum participants will also discuss various aspects of bringing the law enforcement practice of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in line with international standards and debate over the impact of reform of competition law and policy on the markets and consumers. Team Leader of the EU Project, Dr. Eugene Stuart, will speak at the Forum on state aid regulation in Ukraine, as a tool to promote competition.
The Forum will be attended by the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the Committee’s Authorized Government Officials, MPs, heads of European competition agencies, international experts, representatives of the Competition Fund, governmental agencies, professional associations, public and media.
The Forum is organised by the Competition Fund, with the assistance of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and support of the EU-funded Project.
